Eight questions. One universe. Yours is in there somewhere — from Star Wars to Star Trek.
Prime Video found its Carley Fortune moment. Turns out there are two of them.
Since June 10, 2026, Every Year After has been glued to #1 or #2 worldwide on Prime Video — and the universe isn't stopping there. The series, starring Sadie Soverall and Matt Cornett, is based on Every Summer After. Meanwhile, Meet Me at the Lake was picked up in 2023 by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Archewell Productions, and Fortune herself says that one is "still in development," with a script "still being revised."
Gobble's Take: One romance hit is a win. Two Carley Fortune adaptations running at once is a whole comfort-TV empire in the making.

The Dark Knight is beloved. Spider-Man 2 is allegedly better.
Collider is making the case for Spider-Man 2 as the greatest superhero movie ever made — yes, above Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight. The argument goes back to 2004, when Sam Raimi delivered a standout supporting cast, jaw-dropping action, and a genuinely deep look at its hero's inner life. The Caped Crusader isn't being dismissed — just asked to slide over one seat.
Gobble's Take: A 2004 movie still sparking superhero superiority fights in 2026 is either a great sign for the genre or a damning one. Possibly both.

Friends got a Hollywood star for free. There was a bet involved.
Collider is surfacing the story of how Friends landed a Hollywood star to work for free — all thanks to a clever bet. The details stay wrapped in mystery here, but the headline alone is enough to make the old sitcom feel like it was running a whole side hustle.
Gobble's Take: A free Hollywood guest star, a lost bet, a classic sitcom — some legends really do write themselves.
