Pope Leo XIV and his delegation had already boarded an Iberia Airbus A320 at Tenerife Norte Airport when one engine would not start, the flight was canceled, and everyone had to get off. The twist, because travel chaos enjoys a flourish, is that King Felipe VI was already at the airport and offered his Dassault Falcon 900, which the Pope accepted for the trip back to Rome.
