17 tracks: Becky G’s new album Baraja Bendita drops with a full-length identity crisis and zero collaborations.
Becky G goes all-in on duality with Baraja Bendita
Becky G’s fifth studio album arrives as a 17-track statement about owning every part of herself, with previously released cuts like “EPA,” “Marathon” and “Patrona” in the mix. The project leans into a wide palette too, moving from kizomba and R&B to bachata, merengue, reggae, reggaetón, house and deep bass music — basically, no lane was left untouched.
Gobble's Take: This is the rare pop-era flex where the album title sounds like a mood board and the tracklist sounds like a dare.

Troye Sivan turns the club into a Nicole Kidman cameo reel
Troye Sivan has kicked off a new era with “She’s the Best,” and the music video brings Nicole Kidman into the club while drag queens, including Sasha Colby, fill the floor. Directed by Gordon Von Steiner, the clip ends with Sivan and Kidman joining forces while he’s in drag, which is exactly the kind of pop chaos the internet will chew on all week.
Gobble's Take: When a club video has drag, sparkle, and Nicole Kidman, subtlety is not invited.

Phoebe Bridgers made a sad-songs skating party look weirdly perfect
Phoebe Bridgers spent about 10 minutes skating with fans at Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale, California, and she was impossible to miss thanks to brightly strobing light-up skates and her extra-platinum hair. At the YouTube-sponsored listening party for Lost Weekend, she told the crowd she’d had the idea forever and thought it would be cool to skate to sad, slow songs instead of the usual ABBA energy.
Gobble's Take: Only Phoebe Bridgers could make a roller rink feel like an emotional support group with better lighting.

KATSEYE drops WILD and immediately books the arena lap
KATSEYE’s third EP, WILD, arrives led by the Billboard Hot 100 hits “PINKY UP” and “Animal,” with the latter co-written by Ed Sheeran. The group is also heading out on THE WILDWORLD TOUR, starting Sept. 1 at Dublin’s 3Arena and rolling through North America, the United Kingdom and Europe, while their concert film KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS is already playing in 1,700 cinemas across over 60 countries.
Gobble's Take: They didn’t just drop an EP — they dropped a whole rollout with arena receipts attached.
