FISHER Lands a Pixar Gig, and It’s a Backyard-Shed Kind of Weird

Grammy-nominated Australian DJ and producer FISHER is adding a Pixar credit to his résumé: he’s joined the Australian and New Zealand voice cast of Toy Story 5 as Garden Gnome, a character in the community of forgotten toys living in an abandoned backyard shed. Disney says Garden Gnome is “fiercely protective of teatime and his kid.” The film is set to open in Australia and New Zealand on June 18, and FISHER says, “I am incredibly excited to be part of ‘Toy Story 5’,” adding, “This is a franchise that my family and I have loved for years — I can’t wait to watch it with my kids.”

‘Euphoria’ Is Officially Done, and HBO Didn’t Even Try to Soft-Launch It

After seven years, three seasons and 26 episodes, Euphoria is officially over. Sam Levinson made the announcement on Popcast, the New York Times music podcast, and HBO confirmed it to Variety. The Season 3 closer, titled “In God We Trust,” was actually the series finale. The news isn’t exactly shocking, since Zendaya had already said in interviews she believed the show was ending after Season 3, and there was a full four-year gap between Seasons 2 and 3.
