People’s CDC’s Pride Month interview series puts local public health advocacy front and center
The People’s CDC says it is starting a series of interviews with local organizers doing public health advocacy in different regions across the United States, framed as “Take Action Locally.” The first interview is with ACT UP NY, released in June of 2026 for New York and National Pride Month. It also says DOHMH has announced city-funded and city-run gender affirming care services for adults starting soon at its free clinic in Corona, Queens.
