32-50 was enough to send Doc Rivers packing, and the NBA playoff field is already set.
The Play-In is next, with six games on Amazon Prime Video
The season is over, the matchups are set, and the No. 8 seeds in each conference still have to be decided through the Play-In. The schedule is already lined up for six games, all on Amazon’s Prime Video, before the first round begins next weekend. The field has 16 teams still alive for the Larry O'Brien trophy, with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers set to face the Houston Rockets in the first round, while Oklahoma City, San Antonio, Detroit and Boston are still waiting on their opponents.

Early free agency is already doing the most
Tuesday, June 30th at 6:00pm ET is the official start of NBA free agency, but the moves and rumors were already flying. One deal has Dallas getting Santi Aldama and Memphis getting AJ Johnson, a 2030 Warriors’ first round pick, and two future second round picks, with Dallas graded B and Memphis graded B+. The writeup says the Dallas move also seems to point toward keeping Kyrie Irving, who is returning from a torn ACL, while Memphis keeps stacking picks and a full $29M trade exception from the Jaren Jackson Jr. trade. Boston gets Paul George plus two first round picks and two second round picks, while Philadelphia gets Jaylen Brown, with the Celtics graded D and the 76ers graded A+++++ for the deal.
Gobble's Take: This is the part of free agency where the paper trail starts looking like a dare.
