Chuck Leinweber keeps the sailing math brutally honest
Small Craft Advisor’s new interview series is built around experienced sailors and true old salts who’ve spent decades on the water, and today’s subject is Chuck Leinweber. He says he’s sailed several thousand miles, including many miles in raid-type events like the Texas200 and the Everglades Challenge, but he does not consider himself a very good sailor. He also says he enjoys sailing and boat building, and that he thinks of himself as somewhere in the middle between people who mostly build and people who mostly sail.
